Welcome!
Indivisible NH Upper Valley is a progressive, grass-roots, pro-democracy organization based in Lebanon, NH.

Our mission is to rebuild our democracy and promote a more just society through political education, advocacy, and grass-roots direct action.
Our vision is that by the end of 2026, we will have helped:
• Reverse Trump’s fascist policies and contain his powers
• Flip the US Senate, flip the US House
• Elect a more progressive New Hampshire Governor, flip the Executive Council, and flip the NH State Legislature
Our strategy is grass-roots mobilization.
Our values:
-
Egalitarianism – We value every life as equally deserving of dignity, safety, respect, and compassion. We oppose all forms of oppression and exploitation. We recognize our democracy was rigged from the start in favor of the white, male, and wealthy. We actively work to realize a shared vision of a real democracy – of, by, and for the people – and oppose special privileges and extra influence for the wealthy elite.
-
Justice – We strive to support policies and actions that right economic, environmental, and other types of injustices. Creating a better future includes responding to injustices of the past.
-
Nonviolence – We model in our words and behavior a nonviolent engagement with each other and the wider world. We believe in the power of nonviolent resistance and organizing to achieve our political goals. All events and actions will be nonviolent.
-
Kindness – We model inclusion, respect, and fairness in all of our actions, and aim to treat others as we would wish to be treated.
-
Leading with Hope – We lead with hope, not fear. Authoritarians want us to feel powerless. We believe in the power of people to change what’s possible, and we act like It.
-
Collaboration – We prioritize dialogue and value community. We partner with individuals, Indivisible chapters, and other allies, focusing our efforts to maximize our impact.
We are a chapter of the national Indivisible organization, www.indivisible.org
